Lauren Gregg’s “Nerdimals” combine lots of my favorite things (cute animals, geekery) in one retro package. Plus they’re called Nerdimals! Love that. Love her. Love the Trekkie, Record Store, and Dungeons and Dragons nerds in particular. Although I have to say, they’re almost too cool for their so-called nerdiness.

Taking a quick time-out from your regularly scheduled programming to pimp my shop, because I’m really excited about my new “Hello, Pattern” card line, which sets sail today with “Ahoy!” (Lame pun intended. Sorry.) More patterns and quirky greetings going up all week, and I’ll also be offering sets of 6 different “hello” styles. Fun!

I’ve been meaning to do Illustration Friday forever, but I hadn’t gotten around to it. It figures that the first one to strike my fancy is “contagious!” I know a million people are probably doing pigs (hat tip to swine flu) but that’s where I went too.

Love recoveringlazyholic’s “Reminders” project (found via Design Crush). It’s a significantly more stylish version of the “put a photo of your skinny self on the fridge” weight loss trick. I could defintiely use some “colorful reminders spattered all about my house [that] might make me more prone to living my life a little better.” But now I want to know—are they working?

Sales, schmales. There’s nothing that makes you feel more official than a shiny new box o’ business cards. Arrived last night; embarassed to admit that I opened them like a kid at Christmas! (And yes, I definitely Photoshopped out my phone number in this pic. Not that I don’t want you to call me…)

The lovely Amy of little alouette and Kirtsy fame interviewed me for the Brief Introductions series on Scoutie Girl, and it’s up today. Aside from cringing at how long-winded I am (seriously, I was not so brief!) I’m pretty darned excited.
