My mom bought these type blocks years ago on a family vacation in Maine. I can still remember the shop where we bought them: Little kids tend to get antsy in stores that don’t sell toys, but I was fascinated by all the letters and boxes and the slightly musty smell of the shop. These little treasures had been living in a drawer at her house, so last year when I was home I decided I’d bring them back with me to make some sort of shadowbox/vignette. Sadly, despite their exciting journey from Ohio to New York, they still live in a drawer. I just can’t decide what to do with them. This little photoshoot was the most action they’ve seen in years. Any ideas?
