When my Etsy shop finally opens, it’ll consist mostly of paper goods. But with my new embroidery kick, I’ve decided I really want to do some hand-embroidered cards. This is my first test, and as you can see I’m not very good at it—the card got totally warped and bent. Certainly nothing I’d want to give away, let alone sell. So I just started stabbing the card instead (which oddly enough I actually like the look of). Of course then a few days later I came across this Etsy seller. Drat. I’m still dreaming of flowers and other lovelies made entirely out of French knots, so I’m going to keep trying. Hopefully you’ll see the results in my shop!
